Pin-Gear Drive
An external pin-gear drive provides a practical transmission solution for low-speed heavy-duty turntable operation. Locating the drive outside the platform also makes maintenance, repair and replacement more convenient.
We specialize in manufacturing the heavy-duty rotating foundation. Our turntables are designed to integrate seamlessly with your custom workstations. The platform rotates according to preset direction, speed, angle and cycle time, and stops accurately at the required position.
By arranging multiple workstations around one rotating platform, the system can reduce production-line footprint and improve operator efficiency. Rotating transfer systems can also be integrated for water, electricity, gas, oil and other required media.
A workstation turntable organizes several production operations around one rotating platform, allowing products to move between predefined workstations without extending the production line in a straight line.
The drive, central assembly and supporting structure are engineered together around the actual project load and operating conditions.

The central assembly uses a turntable bearing and slip ring to support the platform while providing transfer paths for power, signal, water and gas.
The main load-bearing structure consists of a steel frame selected according to project load. Adjustable support wheels carry radial and axial loads, utilizing self-aligning bearings to adapt to installation tolerances, with bottom studs allowing for height adjustment.

This installed turntable shows the finished support system in operation-ready form. The frame, support wheels and rotating platform are assembled as one foundation for the customer's workstation equipment.
The positioning method can be selected according to accuracy, response speed and locking requirements.
External sensors provide workstation stop positioning where lower accuracy is acceptable and mechanical locking is not required.
Encoder feedback provides higher positioning precision without a mechanical locking mechanism.
Encoder positioning combined with a mechanical pin provides high-precision positioning and locking after stopping.
Fast response and high positioning performance with locking capability after stopping.
The final positioning system is selected according to the required accuracy, response and whether the turntable needs mechanical locking after stopping.
The 8 m five-station engineering example shown above is specified at ±1 mm positioning accuracy.
This wastewater-treatment project shows how the workstation turntable can be adapted to demanding industrial environments and production requirements.
Industrial workstation turntables can be engineered according to the specific production layout, load, station count, cycle time, positioning requirement and utility-transfer needs.
